Ich habe gerade das Upgrade auf die aktuelle WordPress Version 3.0 “Thelonious” erfolgreich durchgeführt!
Für euch ändert sich wohl erstmal wenig bis nichts… zumindest vorerst.
Es kann sein, dass es zukleineren Problemen mit dem Caching kommt, das hoffe ich baer in den nächsten Tage auch noch zu lösen…

Huawei E5830: Ein Mobiler WLAN Hotspot mit UMTS Uplink!!!
Neues Spielzeug: Mobiler UMTS/WLAN Hotspot
Endlich kann ich mit allen meinen Spielzeugen Online gehen, wann und wo ich will :) Und das ohne zig Verträge mit Datendiensten zu haben…
Ich selbst habe derzeit daran einen Notebook, einen BlackBerry 9700, ein iPhone 3Gs und ein weiteres Device hängen. iPad und iPod sind aber auch kein Problem. Toll ;-)
Zumal ich das Huawei E5830 sofort mit einer Vodafone DE und einer T-Mobile SIM zum laufen bekommen habe. Leider kann der APN nur via der Management Software (Auf dem Device vorhanden) installiert werden. Diese gibt es aber nur für Windows (Und bei mir machte diese Ärger auf Windows Seven 64Bit).

Juhu, das kommen iPhone OS Release wird endlich SSL VPNs supporten. Dann braucht man keine IP/Sec VPNs mehr ;-)

New enterprise features in iPhone OS 4 include improvements in security, scalability and compatibility. The new Mobile Device Management service can be integrated with third party servers to wirelessly configure, query and even wipe or lock managed iPhones, and iPhone OS 4 enables enterprises to securely host and wirelessly distribute their own in-house developed apps to employees. The new Data Protection feature uses a user’s passcode as an encryption key to protect mail messages and attachments stored on the iPhone. iPhone OS 4 now provides the option to set a longer, more complex passcode, making iPhone and its data even more secure. iPhone OS 4 allows IT managers to set up multiple Exchange ActiveSync accounts, is compatible with Exchange Server 2010 and includes support for forthcoming SSL VPN applications from Juniper Networks and Cisco.

Dann werde ich mir das Pre Release also doch mal ansehen. In der Hoffnung, dass ich es direkt mit meinem Router zum laufen kriege und das nicht zwingend eine ASA nötig ist ;-)
